The Russian Federation began towing Ukrainian ships captured on November 25, 2018 in the Kerch Strait. This, with reference to the Russian media, reports the PI portal on Sunday, November 17.

The tugboat Yany Kapu was the first to leave the berth of the Kerch Maritime Station, followed by the small armored boat Berdyansk. The holes received in November 2018 during the conflict in the Kerch Strait are closed up. The ships are pulling tugs and boats of the coast guard of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

It is planned that the transfer of ships will take place in the area of ​​Cape Foros. The Sapphire rescue and emergency ship, as well as the tugs Titan and Gaydamaka, are already located at the transfer point.

Earlier, the information and analytical portal PI reported that the commander of the liberated Ukrainian sailors told why during the conflict in the Kerch Strait they did not open fire.
