The gadget has a special screen that reproduces Braille
In India, the world’s first smartphone for people with impaired or visually impaired is on sale. About it, referring to a message from the press service of the United Nations on the social network Facebook, the PI portal reported on Saturday, January 4.
The special screen is a grid of contacts that form the braille.
It is based on Shape Memory Alloy technology, using the properties of some materials to return to their original shape when heated after deformation. Contacts are located from top to bottom and represent the Braille alphabet, responsible for certain letters or symbols.
The gadget’s monitor acts like a translator, transforming plain text into braille and vice versa.
Earlier, the information and analytical portal PI reported that Microsoft is ceasing support for the Windows 7 operating system.
